General Volt was defeated, because the fight prevented them from pursuing dr. Indigo. Parker looked back at the radar in his hand, they weren't too far away, but because the passage was like a maze, there were a lot of twists and turns to get to the destination.
"Hurry up or we'll lose him," Parker said as he walked away.
Without further ado, the three of them followed Parker's directions, they ran back down the hall to the laboratory. Suddenly they were again surprised by the attacks of the guards who were hiding at another maze intersection.

The surprise attack came from the front, the four of them immediately prepared to attack.
