'Where am I?' those were my thoughts right after I woke up. My surroundings were all pitch black and I couldn't see a palm in front. The last fresh memory inside my head was the chemistry test Mr. Friesto had applied to us.
'Oh, shit. I remember it now.' Everyone slept more than the bed at least once in their lives. I did every fucking time. The prize I received for being late was a clueless partner to take the test. Layla. She just stood there watching me mix all of the substances. Waiting for her A. Screw that. She knew how awesome I was at chemistry, so why would I need to pass that stupid test. So, I added some other components, but I never thought that they would cause an explosion, turning me into a corpse.
The only good thing was that I was the only one who died, everyone else was safe. Hurting others in that stupid way would be unforgivable.
The concept of after-life crumbled before me, as I clearly died but was alive. Water dripped from the stalactites above, which gave me the idea that the place where I was currently standing was a cave. It was so dark. Finding the exit would be a pain in the a**hole, I knew that. And when I thought that things couldn't get worse, a horrific bug climbed my right leg, soaking me with some gelatinous liquid.
'Get off me, you idiot'. The bug fell as I shook my leg, but the trauma of that accident was still at the back of my mind.
Wandering inside the cave, clueless, hitting a rock sometimes. My feet and legs had so many scratches that reminded me of Johnny, my cat on Earth.
'Dear Johnny, I hope we can meet again in this foreign place," I didn't even know if I was at Earth, or somewhere different. After what seemed like an eternity of walking like a lost moth, I finally saw some fount of light, which I assumed was the exit of the cave.
The sound of singing birds entered my ears before I even passed through the light. That eased my heart. Birds would be waiting for me, and not terrifying beasts who would slice my body and eat me like a barbecue.
Sunlight hit my body, and when I breathed the fresh air for the first time, I realized I wasn't breathing at all.
'What the heck is happening,' I looked at my hands, and what I saw scared me.
Long black nails and the skin on my hands were nonexistent. My hands were only bones, just like the rest of my body.
'I'm a skeleton?' How didn't I realize it sooner?' The sensations of being a skeleton were different from those of being a human. I couldn't breathe, for example, but I was so used to it back on Earth that I didn't realize it until that moment. That turn of events caught me off guard and I wasn't sure what to do.
My plan to get out of the cave and find other humans was now impossible. No one would talk with a skeleton.
'Maybe I can work in a circus?' I didn't mind it being a skeleton. World of Warcraft showed me that skeletons could be awesome, but there was still a fact that made my hair fall...
'My hair... my precious hair... I'M BAAAAALDD!!'
I touched my head countless times, and yet no hair would appear. That's when I saw the number 1 above my head.
'Am I bald, and crazy?'
That's when strange numbers appeared in front of my eyes, and a voice entered in my, ears?
'Is not that the cave we are looking for?'
