Since the day I was only twelve, I was born and raised as nothing more than a weapon. A disposable tool whose only purpose is to listen and do as told.
A weapon has no need for a past. A weapon has no need for a future. All that matters to it is just how efficient it is on the battlefield.
In other words, the only thing I have to my name is the "now" that stands before me.
But what do you do when the one thing you have left is threatened to be taken away by your masters?
Do you just roll over and do as told? Just sit around like a dog and wait until they "dismantle" you?
No, of course not.
If the only thing I have left is my own life, then of course I would want to protect it. I may just be a "weapon", but I'm selfish just like any other human.
That's why I finally decided what I plan to do.
I will betray my masters.
Or die trying.
"Seven heroes and seven keys. One door and one truth."
Unfortunately, this is not a story spoken from the perspective of any of those seven chosen heroes.
In fact, at the time, I did not even know that such a prophecy had ever existed.
However....
I would soon realize that one day, I was going to be put in a position of great power....
One whose decisions would greatly influence the very direction in which this story goes.
And decide whether or not, that prophecy will ever come to fruition.
This is the story of a traitor.
