"Well, do you think that they are a threat?" Wu Mei questioned Huo Yan who shrugged, he glanced at the computer on his desk, his eyes narrowing.
"I don't know, but it's better to steer clear of them. Do your best not to be in contact with them. That's the most logical solution for now." Huo Yan's voice became deeper, darker. It was clear that he knew something else other than what he was letting on.
"Anyways, little darling, if I didn't call you, you wouldn't have called me, right?" Huo Yan cleared his throat, a tone of sadness creeping in.
Wu Mei coughed lightly, "Is there anything else you want to say to me?"
"Nope. Can't we just talk about random things for a while?"
"Don't you have things to do?" Wu Mei shot back, her ears going red. She had no idea why she was feeling hot, and she didn't like it.
