Ouyang Han's words made everyone silent for a minute, an air of pondering filling the air. But afterwards, he chuckled and waved his hands, regaining their attention once more.
"You don't have to be so concerned about it. Unless…" Ouyang Han trailed off, his eyes straying towards Wu Mei who was deep in thought. Shanshan saw him gaze, so she stepped forward to block his line of sight.
"I think we should leave." She began, her voice was hard and cold, "Wu Mei?" Shanshan called out her name softly, reaching out to hold Wu Mei's hands.
"Okay. Thank the Emperor for us." Wu Jing said to Qian Lang who nodded in acknowledgement. With that, the group turned around and continued their walk back to the house, leaving the conversation behind them.
