Shanshan was suspicious of the change of words but said reserved her words.
"How was your stay there?! Hope you enjoyed yourself??".
"Mm. I missed you though. You didn't call me". Shanshan sulked.
"I didn't want to distract you from the good time you were having with your family. Being a third wheel isn't nice you know". Wu Mei defended herself. She picked up the lettuce and shoved it into her mouth. She chewed slowly without smacking her lips.
"Hmph!! Anyways, how prepared are you for the exam that is coming up soon?? And Lisa??". She looked around, remembering she hasn't seen Lisa since she arrived. For the exam, it was the first time Wu Mei was hearing Shanshan mention the exam, on her side, she had forgotten about it.
" Uuh, we'll just go with the flow. Lisa has probably forgotten about it so before we go to school tomorrow you can tell her".
"Okay". Shanshan nodded and the rest of the meal was eaten in silence.
