Ugh! If today felt any slower. My only enjoyment came every time I purposely ran into the boys and knocked my books on the floor. I made Drew fall on the floor and start screaming as he was seeing Rebecca's face on me. Only for a minute but it freaked him out. I snapped him out and questioned if everything was okay. He ran off before answering. Steve just blinked at me a couple of times and I think Phil is well stupid.
In fact, the reason for that is he shouted "REBECCA! YOU'RE DEAD!"
Which caused a bunch of eyes to drift to us. I held back all the laughing I could.
Dom saw the mess and quickly came to my side. "Hello, Indiana! Are you okay?" he asked, confused.
I gave him that American sweetheart smile and nodded.
"Was it just me or was he off?" I asked, trying to play it off.
He nodded in agreement but I couldn't tell if he was agreeing with me because of me or because he really agreed. It caused me to become tangled in my own head for a bit.
"Indiana?" he said, trying to get me out of my own thoughts.
I shook my head trying to readjust myself.
"Oh, I am sorry. Did you say something?" I questioned.
He nodded "I asked if you are ready for a break?" he repeated again.
At this point, I completely forgot the break was even coming. I at this point bit my lip more in frustration than confusion. Dom stared at my lips and for a moment I thought he was going to fall over but nope, he held steady.
"Do you have plans for break Dom?" I asked as a friend would.
He nodded. I stood there and waited for him to explain. "My mom is taking me to Myrtle Beach. She said you can come with us if you want," he said with a smile ear to ear.
I knew I couldn't but I didn't want to give him a reason to start questioning everything. "Aw! That is sweet but I will have to run it past my brother and see what he says!" I said using him as an excuse.
He smiled. "Want me to walk you home?" he asked.
I shook my head "No, my brother is coming. We are having dinner. But thank you for always being so sweet." I said as I leaned in and kissed his cheek.
He turned into mush just like the first time. I walked away. I went to my locker and set my books inside and grabbed my bag and jacket. Right as I shrugged on my jacket, my phone buzzed. I glance down and it's a text message from Jax. "Indie I'm outside!" Ugh like I didn't know already.
I walked outside and climbed into the car.
"So how was your day Indiana?" He asked.
At this point, I broke out laughing. I told him how I played with the boys and even how the one called me Rebecca. He laughed.
"Jax, did you know the break is next week? Dom invited me somewhere but I would rather stay inside, instead of dealing with his eagerness to be my hero." I said as a matter of fact.
He smiled as we pulled inside the driveway.
"Why are you smiling like that? Seriously its scaring me!" I was confused and terrified by his look.
He laughed "Let's go inside and talk!" he said.
I didn't know if this was a joke but I was ready to know what the hell was going on! We walked inside and I shut the door behind me.
