I could hear Jax walk into the bathroom. Just like this morning, I wasn't shying away. I don't think he was either. He leaned against the tub.
"Was she fine getting home?" I questioned without opening my eyes.
He nodded. "She seems to only remember you." he said, "Nothing else but just you."
Well, I figured this would happen. I held my hand out to him. He smiled and kissed my hand.
"She has you to thank, I didn't go overboard because I remembered your kiss. Your kiss saved her and well me." I said peeking one eye open at him.
I could feel his happiness build-up which caused mine to be the same.
"But Jackson I am okay. Will you go make me something to eat?" I questioned.
He nodded his head and got up but before he left he bent down and kissed the top of my head.
Jackson's POV
Walking downstairs, I realized she will be able to do this. If she takes them out one by one the pain won't affect her and she will be fine. I think taking them out one by one will be a bit fun on her end. I started grabbing stuff out of the refrigerator to make her sandwich. I grabbed the tray and loaded it up with drinks and chips and her sandwich. I looked at the cake I bought for today. I sliced one piece and grabbed a fork.
I started to walk upstairs. I walked into her room, she just had gotten out of the tub. Her hair was still a tangled mess but seemed beautiful as it touched her bare skin. Her back was turned to me she slid her shirt on. I don't think she noticed me as she grabbed my jacket and zipped it up. She finally turned around and smiled.
"Oh, I see I'm not getting my jacket back anytime soon!"
She laughed. I placed the tray on the bed.
Indiana's POV
I saw the tray of food and took every ounce of me not to ravish through it. I slid on the bed and started to eat my sandwich.
"Mmmm!" I said in hunger.
He smiled, "Good sandwich?" he asked.
I nodded with a full mouth. He laughed as he ate his sandwich.
"Indie, you know you owe me a movie!" He said, teasing me.
I rolled my eyes "Fine Jackson!" I said as I put my hands up in defeat.
He laughed and kissed the top of my head.
"Not tonight, let's just see what's on cable." He said as he flipped through channels.
I ate all of my sandwich, for a moment I thought of taking a bite of his. Finally, he landed on some tv show about a group that entered haunted places. Really neither of us was interested in the show but it was just background noise.
I glanced down at the tray and notice there was one slice of cake and one fork.
"Oh, you didn't want any cake?" I questioned because of course, the cake was for me.
He laughed. "I thought we would share," he said with a tease.
I smiled. I leaned over and kissed his lips, "I just think you wanted me to feed you." I said with a tease.
He smiled and I sensed it all. Just as I leaned back, my phone rang. I looked down at my phone.
"Jackson be seriously quiet! It's Trey." I demanded.
He nodded.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Indiana," he said, all happy.
"Hey, Trey. I was just thinking of you." I said with a wink to Jackson.
I looked at Jax and I could tell he was holding back a laugh. I held my finger against his lips.
"Indiana, I was wondering if you wanted to do something tomorrow?" He asked.
"Oh my gosh! Yes! My brother is actually going out of town for work so I won't have to rush home or maybe you'll want to come over here?" I said in my best innocent flirtation voice.
Even on the phone, I could sense I was saying all the right words for him. "We could stay over here and watch a movie if you are interested in it?" I questioned.
If I could see him I am sure I would have to wipe the drool.
"Yeah, Yeah that sounds like a plan!" He said as if he was trying to play it cool.
"Night Trey," I said, trying to hold back my laughter.
"Night Ind-" he started to say, I hung up before he finished.
Jackson rolled his eyes. "Even I could tell he was hanging by every word Indie," He said with a tease.
I laughed "Jackson just remember he's just my bait for the others. I use him to spread more fear and panic." I said, trying to get him to see the big picture.
He nodded.
"But tonight my sweet Jackson," I said as I moved closer to him, climbing into his arms. "Tonight is yours, and I'm going to school late. So pop in that horrific I mean amazing movie you want me to watch. Ugh, just anything but a documentary!" I said as I tease him for his bad choices.
He laughed as he kissed the top of my head, "I was thinking something scary." he said.
This made me laugh but I saw he was serious.
"Fine." I agreed.
I grabbed the cake off the tray and stood up to put the tray on my desk. He walked over and put on some horror movie about a girl who gets trapped in a house. I climbed back on the bed and sliced into the cake. It was so good that the strawberry filling was the topper.
He smiled, "Are you going to share?" He asked as he looks at me.
I shook my head but I held out a bite for him.
"Mmm that was good!" he said with a smile after taking a bite.
That made me smile as I gave him another bite.
"I think I like eating cake in the kitchen better," I said teasing the idea.
"Yeah me too," he said with a large warm smile.
As he touched my leg, leaning in, I kissed his lips, cleaning the chocolate off his lips, I leaned back
"Hm, I can't tell which is better, the cake or the chocolate on your lips." I side slyly.
I gave him another bite as he put a huge smile across his face.
The movie was actually boring. Although the tension between us was suspenseful. Every time he touched me it felt like a volt of electricity that surged through my body. I decided to lay on the other side of the bed but when I did he moved in closer to me.
"You are going to cause the power to go out Jackson!" I said in a tease.
He laughed and rolled onto his side and held on to me. I ran my fingers against his arm, I watched the hairs on his arms stick up. I started noticing he wasn't watching the movie anymore, his eyes were watching me.
"Jackson, this is a horrible movie! Why am I watching this?" I questioned.
He laughed, "Well I was hoping it would scare you into my arms." He said with a shrug.
I laughed "You do realize this isn't one of those tv movies. Although I probably wouldn't have paid attention to you if we were watching my movie." I said as a matter of factly.
He laughed and leaned down and kissed me. Just like when we first kissed it was passionate and we both were hungry for more. My fingers slid through his hair as his hands slid up my shirt. I love Jackson, he is my best friend and I couldn't see myself with anyone else, or at least I wouldn't want to. With him, I never had to hide who I am or who I was. Jackson knows me so well and I know him just as well. I helped him take off his shirt as he went back to kissing me. He started kissing down my jawline and down to my neck. I felt like my body was on fire. His teeth sank into my neck and a moan of pleasure escaped my lips. He stopped and looked at me.
"Indie maybe we should stop!" He said almost in a panic.
I laughed at the thought,"Of course you wanted to stop now." I said flustered.
I pushed him off me and walked into the bathroom. I turned on the cold water as I felt my body was on fire. I was so angry that I got myself all worked up by him.
"Indie? Are you okay?" he questioned.
I turned off the water and looked at him "Uh yes because I really enjoyed being turned down!" I said with an attitude.
I put the towel around me.
"Goodbye Jackson! I am going to bed. " I said, trying to get him to take the hint.
He looked puzzled but I shoved him out the door.
That night I had a lot on my mind and most of it happens to live in this house. Ugh, how could one guy cause such a nightmare? Tomorrow I will have to ensure that Trey comes alone. Although if Justin did tag in I would just have to play along. The sun finally came up, and I barely slept a wink. I got showered and dressed and went downstairs. There, sitting at the kitchen table was Jackson. I could sense his fear and all that made me do was roll my eyes.
"Today you have to be gone before I get home. The house needs to be empty." I said looking at him.
I never gave him a chance to reply as I grabbed a cup of juice and walked back to my room and curled my hair. I looked in the mirror, tied my ribbon, and donned my red lips.
I walked out my door right into Jackson. I pulled back and started straightening myself out. I was in no mood for him. I was in no mood to deal with that drama today. I had a job to do and I was planning on doing it. I walked straight out the door without saying a word. Even though he didn't say anything I knew he was sorry but I wasn't about to give into that. He made me question anything good in my life, to be honest, the only good was him. Even when he drove me absolutely mad, which was often I always had a friend.
Now I have to deal with shit. Ugh. Let's just get this over so we can move.
