Louie handed her a paper as she looked at him confusingly, "What is this?"
"This is the title of all the lands and properties confiscated from the former Count Harriston."
Ashley frowned as she read it for a while, then looked at Louie, "And?"
"Well, His Majesty approved my proposal to give all the rights to you," Louie explained. "It's your compensation for what the Count did to you."
Ashley looked at the paper again and couldn't help but frown.
"Is there something wrong?" Louie asked.
She looked at him, "Why? It's not like I asked for his money or anything that belongs to him."
Louie was shocked at her response, "It's your compensation for all of the deeds he did to you and your Mother."
"I don't need it," Ashley mumbled.
"Pardon?"
"I said I don't need compensation from him," Ashley firmly said.
Louie frowned, "B-but…"
