"I won't stay for too long," Owen said as he looked at her with a hint of sadness. Then he tried to smile, "But I am delighted I visited here today."
Ashley observed him for a while, and then she smiled at him, "Is that so? Thank you for coming and giving treats to the children."
Then Ashley looked at the children, "Children, what would you like to say?"
"Thank you so much," the children said in unison.
Owen didn't look at the children but instead focused on her.
"And I convey my thanks to you, too, Lord Owen. As my token of appreciation, I would gladly escort you to your carriage," Anesha said with a forced smile as she blocked Ashley from Owen's sight.
Owen was about to say something, but Ashley backed her up, "Please take care of Lord Owen as you send him off, Anesha. I'll go to the children for now."
"Yes, Your Highness." Then Anesha looked at Owen as Ashley walked away from them. "This way, Lord Lottway."
