People in black clothes with white flowers started gathering outside the Palace. Whispers and sobs filled the crowd as the sky turned grey. Carriages began to move as they followed a vehicle containing a casket of the finest wood-coated gold.
As the carriage containing such a casket passed the palace's gates, the people started bowing to honour the one in it with tears and sadness.
As the procession commenced, Louie tried hard to hold back his tears as he sat in the following carriage.
"Are you alright, Louie?" Emperor Kian asked as he looked at him.
Louie looked at him, trying to hold back his tears. Then, Empress Cornelia spoke on his behalf, "Of course, he is not." She wiped her tears as it fell from her eyes. "No one is alright when someone dies."
Emperor Kian sighed as he hugged the Empress, "I know. I apologise for asking. But I never thought we would lose him again the second time."
