As Ashley walked down the stairs with Mae and Annie, they met the maids gossiping about Ashley with messy hair and some scratches.
They bowed down upon seeing her, "Greetings, Your Highness."
Annie and Mae glared at them as they clicked their tongue, while Ashley frowned upon seeing their state.
"What happened to all of you?" She asked worriedly.
The maids glanced at each other before one answered, "It is nothing, Your Highness."
"Y-yes… We just stumbled in the garden, that is why…"
Ashley continued to frown when something came in the door.
"Meow!" Thea made a noise upon seeing Ashley and rushed towards her arms.
"Where have you been? I've been looking for you this morning," Ashley said as she caressed her fur. Then she noticed the maids' sudden reaction when seeing the cat.
"Please tend to your wounds immediately," Ashley told them, so the four bowed and walked away.
