"That demon, Count!" Thomas cursed as he smashed his hand on the wall. He was beyond angry upon hearing Ashley's story.
"She said she was here in this town, so I assumed that she must have come and visited you two, but it seems like it wasn't the case," Ashley added.
Franklin nodded, "The last time we saw her was when you visited us. But after that, we never saw her again."
Ashley sighed as she looked down, then felt a pat on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Evan looking at Franklin while his hand was on her shoulder, comforting her.
"Where are you going?" Franklin asked upon seeing Thomas walking towards the shop's door.
"I will go and beat that Count!" Thomas said.
Franklin frowned as he stopped him, "Stop, Thomas!" But Thomas had already left the shop.
Franklin rushed outside, leaving Ashley and Evan.
