"Listen to me, Ashley. That woman is not your mother. She is just an illusion." Evan explained.
Ashley shook her head, "No. I don't believe you." She said and turned to the woman standing not too far from them. "Mother, I apologise for what Evan is saying. I hope you were not hurt."
The woman smiled, and then Ashley was about to go to her mother's side when Evan held her hand, which stopped her.
"Let go of me," She said.
"No. We have to get out of here now."
"No! Let go of me," Ashley said as she struggled to free herself.
Then she turned towards the direction of the woman and saw nothing. She looked around as she searched for her.
"Mother?" She called out. "Where are you? Mother?"
Then she looked at Evan, "Where did she go? She was here just a while ago."
Evan shook his head, "She is an illusion, Ashley. She is not real."
