Then Narve released a sphere of dark haze, the same as what he used that exploded on Pliena a week ago. Hain drew a couple of orbs and threw them towards the attack, deflecting it away from Pliena. Then he started coughing blood again, making Pliena turn to him.
"Hain!" she called with worry. "Don't fight. Let me handle him now."
Hain stopped her, "No, Pliena. You have to go now and escape. Your soul is fading."
Pliena shook her head and looked at him, "No, Hain. I won't go until I kill this demon."
Then they heard a clap coming from one of Pliena's trees. They turned and saw Naver standing on one of the branches as he looked at them. "How sweet," he said.
Pliena frowned as he looked at him, "Shut up, you demon."
"Thank you," Naver said with a smile.
Pliena gritted her teeth as she tried to hide Hain behind her.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt him anymore," Naver said as his smile faded, "Just tell me where you sent Ashley away."
