'What happened here?' Evan thought to himself.
Then he started making a torch he could use inside the forest. After finishing it, he walked on the bridge and entered the forbidden forest.
Upon entering, darkness surrounded him. He immediately opened his torch and ventured inside. The plants were dying, and no ray of light could pass through the dark woods. Evan let It was as if it reverted from the old forbidden forest that he, Ashley and Gilbert had entered.
He walked further and further as he called someone's name, "Ashley! Pliena! Hain!"
As he walked further, he reached where the Serpent's river was. But it was all dried up as if a great drought had come and sucked all the water it had before.
"Ashley! Pliena! Hain!" Evan called out as he looked around.
He passed through the river and went to the other side to find a trace when he heard a faint sound of breathing on one of the logs in the river.
