"I understand. Thank you once again, Your Highness." Count Lottway said as he grabbed Marriane.
Louie nodded and turned to Marianne, "I'll get going now. See you tomorrow, Mari."
Marianne felt her father's grip in her arms and faked a smile at Louie.
"Be careful on your way, Your Highness," Marianne replied.
Louie smiled and ascended the carriage, and departed.
"Well done, Marianne. Just continue your actions and be on good terms with the Crown Prince."
Marianne gritted her teeth as she nodded. Then Count Lottway turned around and patted her shoulders.
"Don't mess up this time. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Father."
Then he walked towards the manor and left her there. Blood dripped from Marianne's lips as she glared at her father.
'You are the reason I lost Evan. So I will take everything from you once I become the Empress.'
