Then they heard a knock on her door, all turned to it. Annie opened the door, and Gilbert entered.
"Your Highness," Gilbert bowed as soon as he entered, "I heard His Highness sent you a letter to come to the Court Palace."
Ashley nodded, "Yes, it seems so."
"Shall I go with you?"
"It's alright. It seems he sent an escort for me, and you are still suspended."
Gilbert thought for a while before nodding. "As you wish."
Annie just gave a final touch on Ashley's hair as she put on an intricate pin on her hair tied in a bun.
"You are ready to go now, Your Highness." Annie excitedly said.
Ashley turned to her with a smile, "You don't have to dress me up like this since I'll be going to the Court Palace and not to the Birthday Ball."
Annie shook her head, "It doesn't matter where you go. As long as you are going with the Grand Duke, we will ensure to bring out your beauty in everyone's eyes."
