Upon leaving the office of the Emperor, Louie blocked Evan's path as he grinned at him.
"You did it." He said happily. "I thought you said that kind of plan is nonsense.
Evan sighed, "I just did it for her. Stop smiling like a fool."
"Her? You mean Ashley?" Louie gaped as he covered his mouth. "Don't tell me you are really in love with her?"
Evan started walking away from him as Louie followed him, "Wait! Come on and tell me." And they walked away without knowing someone was there.
Marianne emerged from hiding as she watched the two men walking away from the palace. Then she walked towards the Emperor's study and talked with the knights.
"His Majesty called for me."
The knight nodded and entered the room for a while. Then he returned and said, "You may come in now."
She entered the room and curtsied upon seeing the Emperor. "Greetings to the Sun of the Empire. May your light shine upon us."
