Bonus chapter
Ashley sat near the fireplace after Evan left. She looked at the journal as she contemplated on whether to read it.
"Is it alright to read this?" She mumbled.
Then she heard Thea make a sound behind her, so she turned around. The cat walked towards her lap and sat down there.
"What are you doing?"
"Meow," Thea answered as she looked at what she was holding.
Ashley frowned as she looked at the book and put it on the floor. Thea's stare followed it, and she jumped out of her lap toward the book. She scratched the front cover of it, so Ashley snatched the book.
"You!" She exclaimed as she looked for some damage and sighed in relief when she found none. Then she glared at the cat again, who sat still as she tilted her head while looking at her.
Ashley couldn't bring herself to get angry, so she just sighed. "That's unfair."
