Lola nodded, "It seemed like you know about it, too. No wonder since it was widely known as a tragic event in the Royal family."
"...I-I just knew it recently because... of Annie." Ashley pursed her lips as she looked down.
Lola sighed as she continued, "Well, it was a tragic death. Twelve years ago, they went to the South to celebrate the Grand Duchess' birthday in her hometown. And they were set to go to Port Town afterward to visit the Carzea Kingdom. It was supposed to be a two-week trip, but Baron Atkins, the Grand Duchess' brother, told us they had an accident the day after leaving for Port Town. On their way to Port Town, the road broke down, and the carriage fell to the ocean."
Ashley gasped as she listened to her. Then she asked, "Did they search for them?"
Lola sighed as her eyes started to tear. Then she continued.
