This journey takes place in the land of siflsheim, a Skyrim-esque landscape and culture, but 500 years ago an event called the transformation has turned all human life in to various beasts and monsters, despite their differences the new age has taken to live as the previous one was, with humanity being the only quality to survive. People still live in their great kingdoms Albeit, some are stronger than others with elf and dwarf living alongside ghoul and golemn, the variety is almost endless.

Humans were not of the most unfortunate, some animals were also transformed. Although not entire species but rather groups, animals that found their home in the plains may have been lucky with little no adjustment, there easy to domesticate with cows and sheep still plentiful, but in harsh landscapes such as the snow these same animals including those other kind have adapted to the environments in a monstrous way. deadly mutated creatures now wander and survive in some places deeming them a dangerous land. Snow rabbits are notoriously now known as were-rabbits, they dawn the lycanthrope features but grow to horrifying sizes, killing with ease these beasts are feared throughout the south, the rest of Siflsheim is not safe either, many s mystery or fight can be found in travel.

Some endowed with near immortal life such as the undead have lived on from the days of humans to tell the tales, although some of the newer generation do not take kindly to the past, opting to forget entirely.

The land is divided by great wars, all headed by the kings and queens dubbed the great beasts, beings of immense and unfathomable strength.

Finally there are the Desolate, a phenomenon not unlike the great beasts although not as rare nor powerful, but to discover the secrets of the desolate is to endure this adventure. With which this story begins in graygard, following a young man, Isaac Girst.
