It was the first day of the tournament. It was to be held in an outdoor arena, a different venue than the previous years of Clash Mania. This was because there were an abundance of players participating, and the change of scenery would invite more viewership, they said. People liked new, people liked things that deviated from the origins.
The outdoor arena was held south of the capital city, just beside the city gates on a broad, flattened landmass flanked by the Southshire forest. This was no government event, but the management apparently succeeded in getting permission to hold the competition here. It must have costed them quite an amount of money, but that didn't matter, for they were set on making this year's Clash Mania the best and most extravagant compared to its predecessors.
