At night, the city marketplace was like a whole new world entirely. Beneath a wide expanse of stars speckling stark against the darkness, the array of stalls competed with them for brilliance. All around, lanterns were strung, offering generous golden light to the tourists and citizens alike. If this place was ever bustling in daytime, at eve it grew alive. It flourished, as though a living entity that composed of normal people and vendors.
All around us, voices of vendors selling their wares and murmurs of potential buyers intermingled in the air, resulting to a chaotic yet comforting symphony.
