It was an unbelievably festive day, the sun shining high above this eastern town, dappling its golden rays upon the bustling square riddled with people and various market goods. Streamers were hung over streets, and every post and wall and shop wasn't exempt from the colorful decorations.
Children ran and played wherever they went, the old people drank outside of cafés and taverns, and the young adults sang and danced to the upbeat music played by street performers.
It was a joyous atmosphere, the symphony of chatters and music and low murmurs and loud laughter forming a strange but odd harmony in the air.
