For the past few years, did you really think that the first daughter of the Russels Household had done nothing but await her marriage to a man she didn't know? It was said that blood-wielders could sense other blood-wielders among them. It was the then newly-crowned Queen Valerie who told Erilyn what she possessed inside her, at a royal ball many years ago. It was the queen who taught her not to be frightened of what she could do. She taught Erilyn to harness this ability so that she might learn to control it and not harm those around her. So that she could be able to hide it from others.
But this was a story for another time. In truth this story is going to begin at a more recent happening, when Erilyn decided to flee her house. By the order of the queen herself.
