I loosed an exhale and rubbed my temple. "I feel like I know where this is going."
The queen tilted her head as if she was saying that she didn't have any idea on what I was saying. "Hmm?"
I reclined into my seat, arms folded. "Now that I know the secret of the royal family, you want something in exchange to make sure I keep my mouth shut."
She gave me a small laugh. "I didn't expect that you'd catch on so easily."
"I know your habits, Your Majesty," I said, shooting her a flat look. "But you must know, I didn't ask you to tell me that story. You're the one who told me about it on your own."
She leaned into the table, placing her elbows before her and planting her face onto her palms. "You misunderstand me Lily. I'd like to offer a different deal."
