The queen led me to her gardens. Unlike before, we didn't stay at her pavilion that overlooked the pond. Our arms were still interlinked as we strolled through the mazes of tall hedges, the gravel crunching beneath our feet. The air was crisp and fresh, brushing soothing fingers upon my nape. Butterflies fluttered up and about the flowerbeds that consisted of different kinds of flowers, each one rare-looking and lovely. Within the distance, I could hear the steady splash of water from the numerous fountains around us. And the sky, it was a clear cloudless blue, with the occasional dove flying low above our heads.
It was so peaceful here, the sound of the wind in your ears like a melody that lulled you to never leave this place.
