"W-where are you going?" asked the woman as she followed on Ren's heels.
Ren stopped, cursing himself. The moment she told him that Tyron had come to their home again and wrecked the place, he thought nothing else but to go and save the kid. In his haste, he forgot about her.
Ren pitied the girl. She had told him that her brothers and father were in no state to call for help, as they were knocked unconscious with no mercy by Tyron's goons.
Ren turned to look at her. "Don't follow me. It's too dangerous."
