After finishing the evening at Taste's Home, Liza offers to walk me to my apartment. We used to walk together before she moved out. I have realized that I was missing this.
"You have caught the sun, Ari. You look gorgeous by the way," she says getting infront of me while walking backwards.
"Why, thank you," I give her a sincere smile of gratitude and she looks behind her for anything that could be in her way. She is an expert at this.o can't walk backwards for more than a minute, fearing that I can run into something.
"The cruise has done you good, I see," she adds while pocketing her hands in her hoodie jumper. I pull my hair behind my ear.
"When is your hot boyfriend going to come back from LA? I want to meet him. Julie said that he caught a glance of him when he was leaving your apartment but she was not sure it was him at that time," she says.
"He came back on Monday," I respond.
