While Azi was cussing at who ever was flying above and screaming and the top of their long. The people involved where still flying above not knowing how to land the flying beast.
"why won't it stop!! " lucian screamed as his face keep being carried by the wind. His lips were being blown by the wind that you could see all his teeth including his gum.
"I don't know, you should have the manual on how to ride this thing your self" Noreen held him tightly by the waist, she was scared of falling down from the beast.
"you asked me to buy this! Think of a way to sto... Ahhh" Lucian could swear he saw the beast smirk before diving towards the ground in full speed.
"ahhhh" Noreen screamed with her hands in the air and an open wide mouth being stuffed with the wind.
"Run.!!! " a person screamed as he saw the beast came diving to the front of where the teleportal is...
Screech. !!!
Was the sound of the beast foot trying to get a holding on the ground as it landed.
"curses bastard! " an old man who stool in front of the beast with only and air breath away from crashing down on him yelled.
"sorry, sorry, this thing doesn't listen" lucian pleaded as he jumped down from the beast's back.
"thanks, I am okay " Noreen said as she jumped down but instead of landing with her feet, she landed with her head.
"you really think I have the time to worry about you" lucian gave her a look that says 'can't you read the situation '.
Lucian was still pleading with the others whom the beast almost crushed during it's descend when he suddenly heard someone yelling curses at him.
"what the hell! " lucian yelled as the person was not even close by during the beast's descend.
The person was tall, around five feet and a few inches, he had a spear strapped at his back and brown skin that shone in the sun, he had long black silky hair and and handsome face that could even make men jealous. Beside him was a female in battle armour, she had grey skin and a horn protruding from forehead upward. It was just a few inches long, the size of a pinky finger.
" Do you not know how to ride your...your, what is the name of that again?" he wanted to call it a griffin at first but realized the beast wasn't a griffin.
The beast did not have the head of a bird but was instead, a real lion with the wings of a peregrine falcon.
" that is just a wing lion" the lady beside him answered respectfully.
"hmm, hmm, yes right. A lion...well never mind" he said walking forward with the lady following beside him to the portal.
"is he sick" Noreen whispered to lucian.
"we should be thankful he didn't pick a fight with us" lucian answered.
"wrong" Noreen said.
"... " he realised an eyebrow in response.
"he would pick a fight with you not me. I am just a weak little girl" she said when brushing the dirt of her clothes due to the fall.
" ha , let's go " he sighed at his teammate while moving towards the portal with Noreen following after Azi, he beast turned to light particles and drifted into Lucian's body.
"your badge and identification" the guards in iron armour stopped them for a check.
Azi frowned at this, he didn't have a badge or what ever and he did not think much of it while coming here. He turned to look pleadingly at the young woman who was following alongside him for a long time.
She sensing Azi gaze immediately walked forward to the guards and whispered something into his ears which made the guard draw a deep breath, then she walked back to stand at Azi's side.
"I am sorry esteemed guest, you may enter the portal to your destination" the guard gestured respectfully which made Azi speechless.
He turned to the young lady to offer thanks before getting in and so did lucian after but he went with Noreen
A forest famously known for having earth shattering beasts and mythical creatures. It was on the farthest end of the west and was mostly used for training rookies and knights.
There where three sections divided by energy output and beast levels.
Beasts where differentiated by how levels and ranks but you will never know unless they revealed their energy to you but there was a consensus on how to identify them by their territories.
Tocut the long story short, those beast with white energies are the one from rank ten till ninety-nine, and those from hundred till nine hundred and ninety-nine had yellow energies.
The rank ten till ninety-nine are usually in the outer section followed by the nine hundred and ninety-nine beasts at the edge of it before entering the middle section where thousand ranked and above stays.
Suddenly, the sound the painful roar of a beast was heard
