"You look very conflicted, Altair." The King said, looking at me with a smug expression on his face. "Is it because of what I just told you? Four days ago, that is."
"Your majesty still has the same humour as when he was a child," I said, trying not to sound disrespectful though I know that I definitely do want to lose a bit of my temper at him.
"You know that you don't have to treat me so nicely still." He said, smiling at me though I know that he is very amused with everything I do, not simply because he thinks that I should try to change myself.
Besides, I might not be under him anymore but there is still a level of decorum that you have to follow when you are talking to the king.
"I know," I said, letting out a sigh as I walk to him soaking in the pool. "I see that you are having fun."
