"This is ... not something I can just process because I understand it," Nova said as Comet began pouring a cup of tea for everyone in the room.
We took a short break to process everything that just happened but I never left Altair's side. I sat on his lap and he merely just continued playing with my hair and my hands, not saying a word either.
"I know," Comet said, sighing and sitting on his chair. Picking the cup up, the porcelain rattled against the saucer. He had to put it down because he was spilling the tea too much. "But ... I know that he is telling the truth."
"Because Orion is confirming it?"
"Yes." He looks Nova in the eyes. "If nothing, I trust Orion with anything and everything he has to say. Don't you?"
"I do." he chuckled, shaking his head. "I think what I am thinking of the most right now is just how dedicated Altair is. In all those years of living ... he never thought of anyone else other than Orion."
