"Hey," Nova said sheepishly walking into the room where Orion is sleeping as I sat beside him, letting out a deep sigh. I am sighing, not him. I am not good at explaining this well, am I?
"Apologies," I said the moment I saw him. "He fell asleep already."
Slowly making his way to us, he paused right at the curtains with several charms hanging all around the bed before looking in, a small smile coming on his face.
"He looks quite peaceful." He said leaning on the bedframe. "He's … he's really alive … right?"
"Of course he is," I said, frowning at him before pressing my temples. They hurt just a little bit, I think. "I said that I have no intention of letting him die, didn't I?"
"Yeah. I know." He said, the smile on his face still there, even as his eyes turned from Orion to me. "You know … I had you pegged wrong."
"That's a strange way to put it," I murmured, turning to Orion as I held his hands tightly in mine.
