"Is the water alright, Orion?" I asked, sitting beside him on the rocks, holding a bowl full of cherries in my hand, watching as he walked into the waters slowly.
The blood that stuck to his body melted off into the waters as he let out a deep, contented sigh.
Walking into the waters with him, I held a cherry out to Orion's lips as he stared at it and then at me before biting into the red cherry.
Smiling happily, I said, "It's good, isn't it? I will get them for you as much as you like, Orion. You just need to ask me."
Chewing on the cherry, he looked around to spit the pit out and I just held my hand out to him. "You can spit here, Orion."
"That seems a little much." He said, taking the cherry out of his mouth before throwing it to the side, much to my disappointment. "You've … you've seen this wound. Haven't you?"
