Chapter 46 - Gone

'Hello.' This intriguing stranger said, holding his hand out to me, as I shook it. 'What is a pretty thing like you doing here?' 

'Pretty thing?' I asked, raising my eyebrow at the man. 

'I apologise that I am not as smooth with words as I would like to be.' He chuckled as the bartender placed our cups on the table in front of us before going back to cleaning the glasses. 'I suppose you make me speechless.' 

'You seem quite apt at flirting, though.' 

'Does it seem that way?' He asked, pleasantly surprised. 'I am glad you think that, I feel like I am fumbling my words the moment you spoke to me.' 

Taking my orange coloured drink, I took a small sip before turning to him playing with the Aunt Roberta drink in his hands, playing with it instead of actually drinking it. 

'Did you have a rough day at work?' I asked, trying to show my interest in this person. 'That is a pretty strong drink.'
