Bernard Taylor felt a tinge of guilt, he actually just wanted to come in and ask her, would she be okay with having noodles for breakfast?
But when he pushed open the door, he saw the young girl rolling around on the bed, laughing merrily, not sure if it was the laughter that made her roll or something else, so he paused there for a moment. Finally, Avery Graham's shrill scream completely startled him into stillness.
"Didn't you go out? Why are you back in here?" Avery Graham, wrapped in a blanket, sat up and took the initiative to ask.
"I just came in to ask, I'm making noodles for breakfast, will you eat them?" Bernard Taylor coughed awkwardly a couple of times, explaining.
"Whatever, I'm not picky about food." Avery Graham's face turned red as she waved her hand, hoping Bernard Taylor would just hurry out.
