"Avery is indeed competent, and my judgment has always been good," Bernard Taylor said with a smile, praising Avery Graham for a while and also taking the chance to compliment himself.
"That's true," Mr. Graham agreed wholeheartedly.
The three of them entered the house, where Mrs. Graham had already prepared the tea. Upon seeing Bernard Taylor, she didn't wait for Avery to introduce him, "Bernard's here? Come in and have some tea. We don't have any fancy tea at your uncle and auntie's place, so you'll just have to make do."
"Auntie, hello," Bernard greeted Mrs. Graham first, then obediently walked over, picked up the cup of tea in front of him, took a sniff, and exclaimed, "The tea smells wonderful."
