As soon as Avery heard the words "brother-in-law," her eyebrows lifted. Seeing this, Giselle Browman immediately conceded, "Don't glare at me, you were the one who said Bernard Taylor isn't an outsider."
"I said he's not an outsider because we're partners, what on earth did you make of that?" Avery was really frustrated.
"I know you guys are partners, life partners, work partners, all kinds of partners, anyway, I don't care too much about it, just hurry up and make Bernard Taylor my brother-in-law, I'm waiting to make all those girls jealous. I have to get up early tomorrow, sis, I'm going to sleep now, goodnight." With that, Giselle Browman slipped away.
She definitely had to slip away, given the look Avery was giving her, she might have killed her.
Avery listened to Giselle Browman lock the door, feeling a thousand silent curses sweep through her mind.
