After Bernard Taylor finalized his deal with Avery, she planned to give further instructions.
In just two days, Bernard had found several properties and narrowed it down to three, all of which were in great locations with heavy foot traffic.
Bernard sorted out company matters in the morning and went for lunch with Avery Graham at noon, then both followed the agent by car to view the properties. Avery was satisfied with all three, and any one of them was better than her present Cake Shop. She wasn't really good at choosing.
Ultimately, it was still Bernard who made the decision. After viewing all three, they chose the second one because, although its location wasn't the very best among them, the rent and accompanying costs made it the most cost-effective choice.
