When Avery Graham got home, Giselle Browman had already arrived, "How come you got off work so early today?"
Working at a foreign company, overtime was common; even if there was no overtime, Giselle would attend gatherings with colleagues and rarely came back this early.
"Hmm, there wasn't much to do at the company, so I came back. Sis, what would you like to eat tonight?" Giselle hopped over to Avery and acted cute.
"Let's go out to eat. I'll go freshen up," Avery contemplated for a moment, realizing there was nothing prepared at home. She was tired from a day's work and didn't feel like cooking, and Giselle, after a day at work, must be tired too.
"Okay, I'll wait for you," Giselle nodded, looking quite natural.
Avery gave her a look but eventually did not ask any questions. She went in to wash her face and then came out, "What do you feel like eating?"
