Because Carolline insisted on waiting alone at the door for Emily Hill, Bryan's grandfather saw her standing in front of him when he came out of the Inpatient Building.
He walked quickly over to her and stopped a step away, "Miss ..."
Carolline turned her head and saw Bryan's grandfather. She wasn't quite sure of his identity, but she was pretty sure the person he was calling was her.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" Carolline nodded to him and respectfully replied.
"I am Bryan's grandfather, and you are the person who helped Bryan. I came to say thank you." Bryan's grandfather introduced himself and expressed his gratitude.
"Please don't say that. It was just a coincidence, anyone else would have done the same." Carolline was modest and did not dare to take credit.
