"Mom, why are there two sets of chopsticks today?" Jollie Auclair looked at the two sets of chopsticks in front of her, not quite used to it.
"One set is for eating, the other for serving food. No more nonsense," Mother Auclair glared at her daughter.
Then Jollie Auclair got it. She glanced at Avery Graham, ultimately not saying anything because her big brother hadn't said a word—apparently, it had been agreed upon beforehand.
Was Avery Graham really that particular? But from the conversation they just had in her room, she couldn't feel that Avery's background was any more noble than theirs.
But since Mother Auclair insisted on doing this, there wasn't much she could do, especially since even Dad hadn't said anything, right?
Mother Auclair used the serving chopsticks to give Avery lots of dishes, then served herself with the same chopsticks. Putting down the serving chopsticks and eating with her own was quite the effort.
