"Hmm, long time no see, Avery is in your care now. I have something else to attend to, so I'll be leaving first," Bernard Taylor nodded, aware of Michael Auclair's hidden animosity towards him.
"Hmm, thank you, Mr. Taylor, for bringing Avery home," Michael Auclair nodded with a smile.
"Bye-bye, bye-bye," Avery Graham waved to Bernard Taylor.
Bernard Taylor drove off, watching through the rearview mirror as Michael Auclair helped Avery enter the Residential Area.
He turned his head and merged into the flow of traffic.

Avery Graham got to their apartment and realized she hadn't seen Giselle Browman, "Where's Giselle?"
"She went out to buy some late-night snacks," Michael Auclair explained. That evening, instead of staying late with coworkers, the two of them had come back early with the intention of buying some food to eat with Avery.
But now, it seemed Avery had probably lost her appetite anyway.
