The two quickly arrived at the Ruiz home, and Emily Hill was already sitting in the living room waiting for them. She couldn't believe that her daughter, who had always been her pride, had the audacity to spend the night away from home.
She never raised her daughter like this, and to make matters worse, her daughter's phone had been switched off the entire time.
"Mom, I'm back," Carolline Ruiz unlocked the door, only seeing Emily Hill and not Henry Ruiz. However, before she could finish speaking, Emily walked over furiously and slapped Carolline right across the face.
