Gary Skate hailed a car, and before getting in, he turned back and asked Carolline, "Carolline, are you sure you don't want to share the ride?"
"No need, thank you, Dean Skate." Carolline replied coldly.
"Alright, see you tomorrow then." Gary Skate smiled and got into the car, glancing at another car not far behind. He told the driver the address and then closed his eyes to rest.
It wasn't long before Bryan Hawkins' car arrived. Carolline got in without waiting for him to speak, a puffed-up, dissatisfied look on her face, as if she had been made fun of.
After all, she had promised Axel that she would have dinner with him, but ended up at this boring dinner instead. If Gary Skate had talked about something important, it would have been fine, but all he did was talk nonsense.
She had been played by him, and what's worse, he wasn't just an ordinary dean who only knew how to suck up to superiors, but also knew how to unite his subordinates.
