Their family was unlike others, in those patriarchal families, if a daughter-in-law made such demands, the son would definitely ignore the daughter's needs. But for them, they couldn't sell their house because if they did, Charlotte wouldn't have a place to live.
Then those women left one by one until Edward met Briella Edwards. Edward loved Briella, but he also loved his sister a lot.
In Edward's eyes, Briella held an equal position with his family members.
"Don't worry, I'll handle it myself." Edward was also a bit upset and returned to his room. Seeing the mess inside, he quietly went to the Kitchen and brought a broom to clean up.
Edward's mother and father both came in to help.
