As expected, Edward Clark's eyes flickered with emotion. He hesitated, "Charlotte was taken away by that woman just like that. You tell me, as her Big Brother, if I don't do anything for her or take revenge for her, would that be right?"
"Why don't you look at it from a different perspective and feel better? Why do you have to think that Charlotte's departure is a burden?" Briella Edwards continued to persuade. She genuinely believed that Bryan Hawkins was not someone to be trifled with.
She didn't want Edward to provoke such a powerful enemy for no reason. If she had known earlier that Edward had such an idea, she would have done everything to stop him.
However, neither of them knew that the lion, Bryan Hawkins, had already been provoked into a raging fury by Edward.
