"What is this?" Carolline asked in confusion.
"I passed by a jewelry store and saw this jade bracelet. I thought it would suit you well, so I bought it. Do you still like it?" Bryan said casually.
He didn't think it was necessary for Carolline to know how he got the jade bracelet. As long as he felt it was worth it, that was enough. For some reason, he felt that if Carolline knew the real value of the bracelet, she probably wouldn't accept it easily.
So, it was better to tell her that it was just a decoration bought from a store, just like any other ornament.
