Both nodded, and George Edwards hurried into the elevator, while Carolline Ruiz headed towards Megan Clifton's office. Megan was having breakfast in her office and browsing the news when she saw Carolline, immediately looking at her hand, "This is for me, right? You do have a conscience, young lady."
"Yep, here you go." Carolline said, wordlessly handing over the gift and putting it in front of Megan before heading out.
"What's the rush? It's rare for you to come up here, let's chat for a bit. Don't we have ten minutes before work starts?" Megan pointed to the chair in front of her as she sipped on nutritious porridge made by her mother-in-law, with a glass of milk on the side.
"Have you been bored these past few days?" Carolline also sat down, "Inside there are some special products and local trinkets."
